Laurine M. Thompson 88, of Fort Myers, passed away Sunday, September 14, 2008. She was born January 17, 1920 in Cairo, GA and moved to Fort Myers in 1933. She retired from First National Bank of Fort Myers and attended Crossroads Baptist Church. Mrs. Thompson is survived by her two children: Karol M. Thompson of Highlands, NJ and Joan E. Wade and husband, Bill of Marietta, GA; two grandchildren: Shane and his wife, Paula and Brandi and her husband, Shane; four great grandchildren: Cole, Taylor, Peyton and Bailei. She was preceded in death by her husband, Carlton A. Thompson in 1993.
