Joan M. D’Hondt, 81, of Bonita springs, passed away Wednesday, January 19, 2011. She was born January 15, 1930 in Grosse Pointe, MI and moved to Lee County in 1972. She was a member of St. Leo Catholic Church.

Left to cherish her memory is her husband of 60 years, Marcel J. D’Hondt; her children: David D.Hondt of Cape Coral, Karen M. Hawksley (Bob) of Union, KY and Robert J. D’Hondt of Lehigh Acres; her brother, Jack Lemieux (Audrey) of Florence, OR; her grandchildren: Kristen, Patrick, Danielle, Matthew and Alec and one great grandson, Dylan. She was preceded in death by her son, Craig E. D’Hondt in 1982.
