Jane Carter Boyer, 81, of Fort Myers, born March 31, 1927 in Philadelphia, PA and formerly of Media, PA and Avalon, NJ, passed away Friday, July 25, 2008 after an extended illness. She is survived by her husband, Wilbur R. Boyer; daughters: Susan Boyer Howell and husband, John, Carol Boyer Obermeier and husband, Gary; son, John W. Boyer and wife, Kate; grandchildren: Jack and Elizabeth Howell and Maddie and Margaux Boyer.Jane will be truly missed by her loving family. Mom had a wonderful sense of humor and her kindness was felt by everyone who met her. Jane loved summering in Avalon, NJ with her husband Bill and her children. She and Bill continued this tradition with their grandchildren, Jack and Elizabeth. The family would like to thank all the staff at Arden Court including Karla, Judy, Kathy, Kim, Sharon, Diane and Robin but most of all, Holly for all their incredible kindness toward Mom.
